Duke University, N.C. State and UNC-Chapel Hill rank among the best values in college education, the Princeton Review says in a report released Tuesday.

In its “100 Best Value Colleges for 2011,” Princeton Review ranks Duke as the second best value among U.S. private universities and rates UNC-Chapel Hill eighth and NCSU ninth among U.S. public institutions of higher learning.

Duke ranks behind only Swarthmore College of Pennsylvania on the private school list.
The University of Virginia ranks No. 1 among public universities, followed by No. 2 New College of Florida and the third-ranked University of Florida.
